Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Character Descriptions Confirms Dual Protagonists

By Todd BlackFebruary 12, 2022
Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Xenoblade Chronicles as a whole has been a franchise that has been backed by fans in many ways. The original title was meant to come out on Wii in the West, but was stopped until Operation Rainfall happened. Then, we got Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U which surprised everyone with its gameplay and depth. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 came out on the Switch in 2017 with the Definitive Edition of the original title arriving in 2020. Both games were million-sellers and got a lot of big buzz. So when the most recent Nintendo Direct came about and announced Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at the end of it, fans were needless to say…happy.

While much is still unknown about the game. Nintendo Everything showcased not just some art of the main characters, but descriptions of them as well that reveal that we are (as hinted in the trailer) going to have two main characters to potentially play as:

Noah: One of the protagonists of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and a solider of Keves. Noah is also an “off-seer” who mourns for soldiers who’ve lost their lives on the battlefield.

Lanz: An ally of Noah’s who wields a great sword that doubles as a shield.

Eunie: A childhood friend of Noah and Lanz who has a sharp tongue and rough personality. She specialises in healing her allies in battle.

Mio: The other protagonist of this story, Mio is a soldier of Agnus and an off-seer like Noah.

Taion: A tactician who flights alongside Mio using his smarts and insight.

Sena: This soldier is an ally of Mio and Taion. Despite her petite figure, Sena’s wields immense physical strength!
