Magic: The Gathering Partners with Hatsune Miku for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty Expansion

By Josh PiedraFebruary 5, 2022

It was announced by Wizards of the Coast that their Magic: The Gathering card game will be doing a collaboration with Vocaloid’s Hatsune Miku for their upcoming expansion set, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.

A song was written, titled “Connected,” and a music video was released which you can check out below:

There are no plans for Hatsune Miku to appear in the expansion set.

In addition, Wizards of the Coast announced that the new expansion set is going to receive a Visual Novel. The game will let you explore the futurist setting as an imperial samurai. YRS TRULY is responsible for the game who also had a hand with the promotion if Innistrad: Midnight Hunt.

The visual novel is slated for release on February 9.

The Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set is available for pre-order now and will be released on February 18. MTG Arena players will get to play the expansion a bit earlier on February 10.
