Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks’ has announced that its next title, Ghostwire: Toyko will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC, on March 25, 2022. The title was planned as a 2021 release title but had been delayed repeatedly. COVID-19 didn’t help matters, nor did the departure of former Tango Gameworks lead designer, Ikumi Nakamura.

Revealed during E3 2019, Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action/adventure-focused title played in the first-person perspective. Players will use supernatural abilities while trying to combat other supernatural beings throughout the streets of Tokyo.

In addition to the release date, Tango Gameworks’ has also revealed PlayStation will host a live stream on February 3rd, 2022, at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. During this event, new gameplay and details about the game will be shown. Seeing that PlayStation is hosting this event, there isn’t any mention of the PC version. However, outside of any exclusive content for the PlayStation, everything shown will also be available for the PC.

That’s not all, as The Outerhaven will also have a preview of Ghostwire: Tokyo which will be going live on February 4, 2022. So be sure to stop by so you don’t miss out.

Ghostwire: Toyko releases on March 25, 20202, for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
