PlayStation’s First 2022 State of Play is All About Gran Turismo 7

PlayStation has announced that it plans on hosting its first State of Play for 2022, and it’s all about Gran Turismo 7. This State of Play will take place on February 2nd, 2022, at 2 PM PT /5 PM ET, hosted on Twitch, and YouTube.

While it was rumored that PlayStation would be hosting its first State of Play next month, it’s nice to see official confirmation. As for it all being about Gran Turismo 7, I’m excited to see it. Ever since I’d purchased my PlayStation 5, I’ve only dreamt of playing one game and it’s this one. Trust me when I say, I can’t wait for this event.

Not to mention, if there’s one game that will fully show us just how much the DualSense can immerse while gaming, it’s going to be this one. Those who remember PlayStation originally talking about the DualSense will remember that PlayStation continuously pounded into our heads just how immersive it would be. That we would feel the ground, the gravel, and grass as we drove over it, to name a few. I want to see and feel this in action.

Gran Turismo 7 is the chapter of the PlayStation racing simulation series and a title I’ve been eagerly looking forward to. Leading up to this State of Play, PlayStation has slowly been releasing more information on the title. Over the course of the past few months, there have been several gameplay trailers. These have included the Find Your Line and the Daytona International Speedway videos.

If you haven’t seen either of these, check them out below.

Gran Turismo 7 has a release date of March 4, 2022, and will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
