Marvel’s Avengers reveals Spider-man Trailer

By Scott AdamsNovember 11, 2021

It feels like forever ago when we first got word that Crystal Dynamics Marvel’s Avengers was going to have the PlayStation exclusive character Spider-man. After getting delay after delay, we finally got confirmation in the beginning of this month that Spider-man was going to be released on November 30th, 2021. Earlier today we got the first peek at what Spider-man looks like in the game.

I personally was hoping for Yuri Lowenthal from the Spider-man games made by Insomniac Games to make a return as his voice actor. I was hoping since, we have seen him play the Spider-man role in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, a game that was released on the Nintendo Switch, that we would see him here as well. With that bias aside, it seems like we have a younger-sounding Spider-man in this game so I wonder how old Spider-man is going to be in this game. We didn’t get any gameplay footage of how he will play in the video, so we will have to wait even further to see if he will be a fun character to play or not.

Just from the banter alone in this video, it seems like Spider-man will have some fun dialogue between the other Avengers so I am personally excited to see how much interactions we can get from him. He doesn’t have an official story operation like all the other characters have had prior to Spider-man, but there are cutscenes and dialogue you can get from collecting and finishing up his Initiative missions from what Crystal Dynamics have told us so far.

Looks like we will have to wait until November 29th to get information about the gameplay at the next Marvel’s Avengers War Table.
