October’s PlayStation State of Play Will Showcase Third-Party Games

Get ready for yet another look at the world of PlayStation, as a new State of Play has been announced for October 27th, 2021. This new State of Play will be available to watch starting from 2 PM PST / 4 PM EST and will be broadcast on Twitch and YouTube.

A new State of Play is heading your way next Wednesday, October 27 starting at 2:00pm PT / 10:00pm BST.

While the last State of Play focused on PlayStation’s 1st party titles, this one will shine the spotlight on PlayStation’s 3rd party titles, and maybe a few reveals as well. Clocking in at 20 minutes, or possibly more, there’s no idea as to what will be shown this time.

The last State of PlayStation gave us looks at Marvel’s Wolverine, Spider-Man 2, and the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, all of which are 1st party games. We might finally get a look at Final Fantasy 16, another PlayStation exclusive, and a title that many have been looking forward to seeing. While Square Enix attended both E3 and the Toyko Game Show, we’ve yet to see Final Fantasy 16 in action. It was rumored back in June 2021 that we’d see Final Fantasy 16 during the PlayStation State of Play. Considering this may be the last PlayStation event of 2021, it’s a strong possibility we’ll see it next week.

Fingers crossed, folks, and let’s hope that October 27th, 2021, is full of excitement!
