Doctor Who Season 13 Teases ‘The Flux’

Doctor Who is very much in a state of uncertainty given all that’s been announced recently. We know for example that Doctor Who Season 13 will be the last ride of the first female Doctor, Jodie Whitaker. It’ll happen via a smaller season and then three movies to end her run and transition to the next Doctor. After that, we’ll get a “return to form” in the eyes of most via the return of Russell T. Davies.

But that’s still a ways off, as BBC America has released a small teaser for the upcoming season and it showcases the new threat for the last adventure: The Flux. Apparently, Doctor Who Season 13 is bringing in faces old and new for this one, so check the teaser out below:

And here’s the synopsis for the 6-part serial:

“She’s back. The Thirteenth Doctor is returning for the thirteenth series in what is set to be a six-part Event Serial. Since their last epic battle in Revolution of the Daleks, the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) and Yaz (Mandip Gill) have been exploring the universe together but with the Doctor now questioning everything about her past there, she will undoubtedly be searching for answers. This adrenalin fueled; universe-spanning series will also see an addition to the TARDIS with actor and comedian John Bishop joining the cast as Dan Lewis who will quickly learn there’s more to the Universe than he could ever believe. Jacob Anderson (Game of ThronesBroadchurch) is also set to make his debut on Doctor Who as reoccurring character, Vinder. Jacob’s new role will see him join forces with the Doctor, Yaz and Dan as the Doctor faces her biggest ever adventure. Series 13 is set to introduce some terrifying new adversaries”
