WEBTOON HOOKY Arrives in Print

By Josh PiedraAugust 11, 2021
HOOKY, a blockbuster fantasy webcomic by Miriam Bonastre Tur, is poised to get even bigger as it arrives in print for the first time on September 7.

Etch, who will be publishing series, describes it as follows:
HOOKY is a fantastical story about twin siblings Dani and Dorian who miss the bus to magic school and must scramble to find a mentor to teach them, only to face a series of mishaps and be declared traitors to their kingdom. With the help of a local troublemaker, a princess, and a teacher who can see the future, they might just be able to clear their names… but can they heal their war-torn home?
This smash-hit webcomic boasts over 95 million unique views and more than 790,000 subscribers. Cosplayers are already drawing inspiration from the characters Dani, Dorian, and the rest of the crew. The #HookyCosplay has over 1.7 million views on TikTok.

Now, it is arriving as a collectible print edition for the first time this fall, with exclusive bonus content from the creator! But you don’t have to be a long-time fan to delight in this witchy tale with Studio Ghibli vibes.
