Star Wars: Visions sneak peek is freaking amazing

“Star Wars: Visions” looks to be a must-watch!

Back in June 2021, Disney announced a brand new take on the Star Wars universe; Anime. Yes, for the first time, and officially, Star Wars is getting the anime treatment, and it’s about time. Today, Disney released a new trailer that gives us a peek at what we can expect when Star War: Visions drops this September 22nd, and exclusively on Disney+.

Give it a look below.

Star Wars: Visions is very similar to another project that was released many moons ago, Animatrix. A collection of animated shorts based around “The Matrix,” but this time, we’re looking at some high-profile studios that have produced some of the best-looking anime around. Trigger, Geno Studio, Kamikaze Douga, Twin Engine, Studio Colorido, Kinema Citrus, Science SARU, and  Production I.G.

For the longest time, fans of the Star Wars universe have always wanted to see the series as an anime. And while the closest thing we got to it was several animated shows, including both hand-drawn and CGI, we never got an official anime. So fans took it into their own hands released several short anime projects, such as this Tie Fighter animation below.

As a massive Star Wars fan, I’m looking forward to this. I just hope the other fans don’t fall into the Sub vs. Dub debate cause that’s the last thing we need.
