It was announced that internationally acclaimed Japanese artist yama will be appearing at Anime NYC 2026, bringing a special live performance to one of North America’s largest celebrations of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture.
Taking place August 20–23, 2026 at the Javits Center in New York City, Anime NYC has become one of the premier anime conventions in the United States, welcoming tens of thousands of fans each year for exclusive guests, concerts, screenings, industry panels, exhibitors, and special events celebrating Japanese entertainment and culture. Anime NYC will welcome 150K+ fans to the show this year from all over the world
As part of this year’s event, yama will perform a special concert on Friday, August 21 on the Anime NYC Main Stage.
