It was announced by Original English Light Novel author, Mono, that Volume 1 of his new light novel series, Showtime, will be launching this December.
Mono states that he is aiming to do something a little more unique with his series by referring to the books as “Chapters” rather than Volumes. As for the chapters themselves, they will be referred to as “Parts.”
He describes the first Chapter and general story of his dark fantasy series as follows:
Jaxxton Miller, a 26-year-old law-abiding citizen has been accepted into the police force in Amber City. There, he meets Vivian Acker, the chief of police, which is impressive for her only being 25. Things seem to be going well until Jaxxton gets mixed up in gang activity and is then threatened to join by… Vivian? Even worse, he finds out that there’s yokai roaming throughout the city. What will their double life bring?
