No More Heroes 3 Introduction Trailer Shows Off The Madness

By William "Shadowz" KokJune 11, 2021

As we head into E3 2020, Marvelous has released a new trailer for Travis Touchdown newest adventure No More Heroes 3.

While the trailer is only in Japanese, it shows off more of Travis, the gameplay and the new world that the player can now interact with. We see Travis with his newly designed beam katana. We also get a better look of his new upgrade motorcycle. We then get to see more new looks in regards the new aliens enemies the Hero rankings that will be taking place in Santa Destroy. We see six of the ten aliens that we are to face including the main antagonist Fu.

We then see more of the gameplay, which now appears that wrestling moves can now be done freely instead of waiting for stunned enemies. We also see powers that were influenced from the prior game of Travis Strikes Again. The creative names for these moves continue over such as Screw Crusher Death Kick.  Four powers can be equipped to Travis’ new Death Glove and can be upgraded. We also then get a better look at Travis’ new form as Full Armor Travis. The Odd Jobs make a return, such as mowing grass, cleaning toilets and cleaning rivers. Even with the world being in danger, you still got to work.

The trailer then ends with the reintroduction of Shinobu Jacobs and Bad Girl from the prior games who will accompany Travis to defend against the alien threat. This implies that we will be able to play as the two if prior games serve as any clue. Travis then wraps up telling that if you haven’t played the previous games, they are available to purchase.

Overall, it has a lot of new gameplay and just oozes style. As to be expected from SUDA51. The only main concern I do have is how it will perform on the Switch. The traversing on your bike and all the effects from combat. Will it affect the frames? Only time will tell. But if anything, this game is just pure moe~.

No More Heroes 3 will be released on Nintendo Switch on August 27.
