OMG, this looks DAMNED GOOD!
Here you go, my fellow marital art Marvel cinematic fans. Today, Marvel has provided a most excellent present with a surprise drop of the ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Teaser Trailer.
Slated for a September 3rd, 2021, released in theaters (we’ll see about that), this phase 4 flick will focus on Shang-Chi’s origin and where he’ll find into the new MCU landscape. Known as the Master of Kung Fu in the Marvel comic books, Shang-Chi is a man of many talents – talents that can take a person apart very easily.
Expect to see several iconic Marvel appearances throughout the movie. Including the mysterious Ten Rings Organization and its leader, the Mandarin. Yep, we’re going to see the real Mandarin and not that fake-out we got in ‘Iron Man 3’. I’m also looking forward to seeing how Marvel handles this movie, as there’s a lot of culture that Shang-Li represents. However, going off the teaser, I can also see that Marvel did its homework for this. I like what I’ve seen so far. If you aren’t impressed, you need to go back to the 1:15 section and give it a watch a few times.
Did I mention this movie is star-studded as well? A few names attached to the movie include Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Tony Leung Chiu-Wai (Mandarin), Awkwafina (Katy), Michelle Yeong (Jiang Chan), Ronny Chieng (Jon Jon), and Fala Chen (Jiang Li).
I can already see you with your Shang Chi vs Iron First debates, I know you’re doing it. Let’s say I have a fair bit to say about that as well. But that’s for another time.
Look for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings this September 3rd, 2021. That is if it doesn’t get delayed again. And even then, theaters? C’mon Disney; we’re not out of this pandemic yet. While you’re waiting, be sure to check out the Black Widows upcoming movie, which was also delayed, on July 9th, 2021.
