Bloober Team releases 14-minutes of The Medium Gameplay

By Keith MitchellJanuary 7, 2021
The Medium 14 Minutes of Gameplay

Bloober Team, the developer behind the upcoming Xbox console exclusive horror title The Medium, has released 14-minutes of gameplay. This appears to be footage that hasn’t been seen before; obviously, if you’re looking to be spoiled ahead of its release date, you may want to avoid this video. But if you don’t mind a tease, give it a look.

In the video, we’re given a closer look at the game’s main feature; dual-reality gameplay. Here, you’ll have to play among two different realms, sometimes one at a time and others at the same time. That’s going to make for some interesting situations, and I’m sure that’s what Bloober Team has planned. Outside of that, this game has all the makings of a proper horror game. We’re talking about messing with your mind, tossing in some complex puzzles, of course, plenty of moments where you’ll need to utilize stealth. The latter is especially important as there are all sorts of nasties trying to put an end to you.

Maybe it’s me, but I’m getting a lot of Silent Hill vibes from The Medium.

The Medium is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC on January 28th, 2020. Are you ready to get scared out of your mind? Please sound off in the comments below and let us know!
