A.R. Dragonfly Launches Art Book to Officially End Series

By Josh PiedraJanuary 6, 2021

Today, the A.R. Dragonfly light novel series officially comes to an end with the launch of A.R. Dragonfly: Illustrations, a 190-page full-color art book containing works from throughout the 14-volume series.

A.R. Dragonfly: Illustrations is described as follows:

An artbook containing illustrations from the A.R. Dragonfly light novel series. The book features art from character artists Zara Fahreza and Alex Garcia along with background artwork from series creator Joshua Piedra. In addition to artwork, the book contains commentary from the series creator, never-before-seen sketches, logos, a Q&A section, and more!

The first volume of the A.R. Dragonfly series published on August 11, 2018. The main series ran for 12 volumes with the final volume publishing on October 19, 2020. In addition, two complementary volumes, A.R. Dragonfly Origins: Episode Amber and A.R. Dragonfly Origins: Episode Kaito was released on January 4, 2021, which expanded on the series’ two main characters’ backstories.

A.R. Dragonfly centers around pro-gamer Amber Ryann as it follows her journey through life as she battles social anxiety. Along the way, she ends up in an unlikely relationship with her rival in the online battle game Blaze Auras, in which she was the #1 ranked player until she was knocked off of her pedestal.

The artbook runs $29.99 and can be picked up at the following link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08S311ML7

The author of A.R. Dragonfly will continue on with a brand-new slice-of-life drama series called From Ashe whose first volume is slated to release sometime during the first quarter of 2021.
