In collaboration to celebrate SEGA’s 60th anniversary, Mediatonic is joining with them to bring a costume of Sonic the Hedgehog into Fall Guys. Yes you can dress up as the blue blur while falling to the abyss.
During a stream from Mediatonic, they revealed the costumes while playing season two of the game. To be clear, this is all cosmetic. There is no speed boost or betterment of gameplay. It is just looking like everyone’s favorite hedgehog. The full set will cost 10 crowns in total.
This is the newest addition to their ongoing collaboration with other developers. We had costumes from Portal, Enter the Gungeon, Hot Line Miami, and Team Fortress. To see all these costumes and now Sonic into the mix, it is encouraging how all these great indies and main stream series can come together. In a sense it reminds me of Smash Bros in that way.
The Sonic Skin will be available on October 14.
Fall Guys is available on PS4 and PC. Season Two is currenlty active with 4 new medieval setting mini-games.
