Panzer Dragoon Remake is still on track for PS4 and PC

Panzer Dragoon Remake Header

While the remake of Sega’s Panzer Dragoon was released for the Nintendo Switch last year, the team behind the remake wants to remind us that the game is still headed to other platforms.

Forever Entertainment mentioned after the release of Panzer Dragoon for the Switch that the game would be headed to the PC via Steam. Supposedly that was supposed to happen late 2019, but it never materialized. That’s not to say it isn’t happening as Forever Entertainment posted an update stating that the PC version is still coming, is a PS4 port.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake will be soon available on additional gaming platforms!

There’s still no release date and we’re nearly a year away from when the PC port was first announced, but hopefully, this will end up getting released for the PC and PS4 this year. An Xbox One version is also planned, but as stated by the publisher, that will come at a later date. For now, the PS4 and PC versions are the priority.

Panzer Dragoon Remake, originally released for the Nintendo Switch was met with a mix reception on its release. While it was solid, it was bugged and had several issues that have thankfully been ironed out. Which is likely why the PC version wasn’t released back in 2019 has previously announced.

As a fan of Panzer Dragoon ever since it was released back on the Sega Saturn, I’m hoping both the PC and PS4 versions are just ported with little to no issue. I still want to see the next two games, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga, if that is even possible. Last I heard, Sega lost the source code to that game, which is why it has never been ported to any other platform.
