New Nintendo Direct Mini Recap (September 2020 Edition)

By Todd BlackSeptember 17, 2020
Nintendo Switch Nintendo Direct Mini

The last couple of Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcases haven’t been the most…exciting to gamers. Mainly because the games shown are either all multi-platform or coming in 2021 or aren’t the most exciting announcements ever. However, in the lastest partner showcase, there was some improvements.

The biggest announcements in many ways was that 2021 will bring not one but TWO Monster Hunter titles to the Nintendo Switch as Monster Hunter Rise AND Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin will arrive in March and the Summer of next year. For a deep dive into those titles, check out the special Monster Hunter Direct below:

However, that wasn’t the only big announcements, as it was revealed that Disgaea 6 is coming, and it’ll arrive EXCLUSIVELY on Switch! Which is a big get for the console. Add to that, Square Enix is bringing an all-new title called Balan Wonderland that is a mix of platforming, puzzle-solving, dream-like worlds, and Mario via costume transformations.

Not just that, but Rune Factory 5 got its first reveal today, and it’ll be coming to Switch as well in 2021.

For those that want to play something today, there were some titles getting launched today. From Hades by Supergiant, The Long Dark by Hinterland Games. And…Ori and the Will of the Wisps!

To see the full breakdown, watch the Direct below!
