Hack and slash parkour Cyberpunk title Ghostrunner now headed to the Switch

By Keith MitchellSeptember 23, 2020

Not wanting to be left out of the fun, the upcoming Cyberpunk hack and slack meets parkour title, Ghostrunner is heading to the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will release alongside the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions on October 27, 2020.

While Ghostrunner was originally announced for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, during our interview at PAX East 2020, we asked if the title would head to the Switch. To which the developer stated it was a possibility but couldn’t say anything more. Now we know it is not only headed to the Switch, but it also looks pretty decent when comparing it to the other versions.

Granted, the Switch version will include fewer visuals and effects, but what we don’t know is to what extent. All we have to go on is the recent trailer that highlights the Switch version and comparing that to the one released for the other platforms. And from that, we can see the differences and yes, it isn’t a fair comparison. We’ll just have to wait for the Switch version to be released to see how it fares. Though I am curious about the frame rate and resolution in both the docked and handheld mode.

While you’re awaiting the release of Ghostrunner, be sure to check out our hands-on impressions of the game from PAX East 2020. Also, be sure to let us know if you’re looking forward to the title in our comments.

Ghostrunner releases on October 27, 2020, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and now Nintendo Switch.
