Supreme announce Mortal Kombat arcade

By Karl SmartAugust 20, 2020

When you think of gaming brands, you think about Nintendo, SEGA, Xbox, Playstation, etc. Not in a million years would you think about something like skateboarding and clothing brand Supreme when you think gaming hardware, but Supreme is getting into the gaming marketplace with a bit of a collaboration with Arcade1Up in order to sell a special edition of the Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet to those who love to wear the big red brand.

The special Supreme version of the Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet was found by pcmag.com‘s Will Greenwald who really seems to be into this branded stuff. Announced in the Supreme Fall 2020 release catalog was this red version of the Arcade1Up Mortal Kombat cabinet that is nothing more than a stickered version of the Mortal Kombat cabinet that was released by Arcade1Up a couple of years ago. There are a couple of changes though, as the Supreme marque is backlit, Raiden is in his red alternative attire with the word “Supreme” on it and the Supreme logo under the Dragon logo and Arcade1Up logo, plus it also has the riser included in the price. What the price will be is currently unknown, but traditionally the Mortal Kombat arcade with riser is about $US360-$US400. It could be less or more with the Supreme logo on it. Overall the games remain the same, so who knows if this will be worth buying.
