Fall Guys surpasses 7 million copies sold on Steam, heading to China mobile market

By Keith MitchellAugust 26, 2020

While I’m not a fan of Fall Guys, thanks to the rampant cheating on the PC version, I can’t deny its appeal. And apparently, neither can anyone else, as Devolver Digital is reporting that the game managed to sell 7 million copies on Steam. Yes, that’s the PC version. Not to mention it’s also the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time. That’s quite the achievement. See, I can give props while still not being a fan.

Congrats to our friends @Mediatonic as @FallGuysGame crosses 7 million units on Steam and is the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time!

An amazing accomplishment from a wonderful group of folks. pic.twitter.com/UoWEqxiUi4

That’s not all either, Fall Guys is going worldwide soon and will be releasing China as a mobile game thanks to Chinese publisher Bilibili.

While the game is only available via the PC and PlayStation 4, once it hits the mobile market, which happens to be quite large in China, we can see all sorts of productivity going down the drain. While there’s no release date for Fall Guys Mobile, it is indeed happening.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the newest game that’s taking the world by storm and soon mobile. The only thing that stinks is that Xbox One players are being left out. Play Fall Guys today on PS4, or PC, just be prepared to be frustrated and possibly smash your keyboard or controller while playing.
