Halloween Kills Delayed to October 2021

By Christopher BowenJuly 10, 2020

Unfortunately, as the world continues to suffer from the deadly Coronavirus, the box office will be affected as well. This includes the continuation of the horror cult classic Halloween as the sequel, Halloween Kills, was set for a 2020 release.

Blumhouse Productions announced that the film was originally set for October, but due to the obvious compromised theatrical experience set in place to prevent the spread of the virus, the film will be pushed back to October 15, 2021. The film will also be available via IMAX on release thanks to Universal.

Halloween Kills will take place right after the 2018 Halloween movie, on the same very night. A vast number of returning characters from both the 2018 movie, as well as the original Halloween movie. This includes Charles Cyphers, Lindsey Wallace, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens, Robert Longstreet, and of course, Jamie Lee Curtis.

In the meantime, here’s the first look at the upcoming sequel – Halloween Kills.

It all started with a Sega Genesis for Christopher on Christmas Day of 1996. Since then, Christopher has dedicated an immense amount of time to the video game industry as a Content Creator, Media Personality, and a Games Writer. He has an unhealthy obsession for PlayStation exclusives and zombie films. He's also an unapologetic cat dad.
