The World Ends With You Receives Television Anime

It was announced by Square Enix that the popular Nintendo DS game, The World Ends with You (Subarashiki Kono Sekai), is receiving a television anime adaptation! While there are no details just yet outside of the anime announcement, Square Enix said that it will share more information during Anime Expo Lite which will stream virtually for free on July 3-4.

This is building off of the teaser art Anime Expo Lite shared back on May 27.

The World Ends with You was released in 2007 in Japan and 2008 in the West. It later received an HD upgrade for iOS called The World Ends with You -Solo Remix-.  That version was ported to Nintendo Switch in 2018 under the name The World Ends with You -Final Remix-
