During today’s Inside Xbox Livestream, we got a look at a new anime-like action title that’s heading to the Xbox (and other platforms) called Scarlet Nexus. The first thing out of my mouth is an anime-like game is heading to the Xbox, and that’s a damned good sign.
In a far distant future, humanity’s last hope falls into the hands of an elite group of psionic soldiers, who battle an invincible threat known as, Others. Unravel the mysteries of a Brain Punk future caught between technology and psychic abilities in, SCARLET NEXUS.
This game reminds me of both Astral Chain and Code Vein, especially the art direction. Based on the trailer, it looks like the game is about slaying monsters that are invading the world, much like God Eater and other games in that genre.
Update: The Scarlet Nexus website is now online. A detailed description has been added, and so far only the Xbox is listed for a release date.
