A quick look and early access to IOGEAR’s Keymander 2 gaming adapter

Keith checks out the IOGEAR Keymander 2 early

Check out our full review of the Keymander 2, here.

As I mentioned in a previous article, during PAX East 2020 I had a chance to check out IOGEAR’s and Kaliber Gaming’s upcoming gaming adapter, the Keymander 2. This device lets you connect either a gamepad, arcade stick or keyboard and mouse and use it on several consoles, such as the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. There’s more info on this in that article. However, today I took delivery of the device and wanted to share a quick look at the adapter. A big thanks to IOGEAR for sending this out early.

In our upcoming article and video, we’ll put the device through the paces and let you know what we think about it. We especially plan on trying this out with multiple first-person shooters, as this is where I feel the want for this adapter will be at. Using any keyboard and mouse for Call of Duty, Apex or even Fortnite on a console? Yeah, sign me up.

Interested in getting your own Keymander 2? Not to worry as the device is up for sale now, and releases on March 13, 2020. Which is earlier than what we were initially told.
