If you’re looking forward to the next episode of Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, you’re going to be in for a bit of a wait. While episode 13 aired last week, it was the season finale. Despite the episode never actually saying it. However, there’s good news as a second season is planned and it will air starting in April 2020.
Of course, the season would end with the crew of Gundam Build Divers: Re:Rise, realizing that they weren’t playing a game. Instead, they were influencing the course of a planet called Eldora, and those NPCs were live beings. Right as they realize this, all of the Gunpla Battle Nexus Online servers simultaneously go offline. Leaving everyone cut off from the network and confused. Realizing that they need to finish what they started, the team frantically looks for a way back to Eldora, just as a friend makes contact with them with a plea of help.
Honestly, I was more of a Gundam Build Fighters person and wasn’t too thrilled about the series not revisiting the past universe. Still, Re: Rise did have its moments and I’m looking forward to the second season to see how they intend to close it out.
