Exit the Gungeon headed to consoles and PC, House of Gundead still releasing in 2020

Dodge Roll Games’ follow-up to Enter the Gungeon, Exit the Gungeon, is now headed to consoles and the PC.  As for which consoles, it wasn’t stated. However, the original game did arrive on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. So it’s safe to assume this will hold true for this game as well.

Enter the Gungeon has surpassed three million copies sold and we're so thankful for the community's support!

Excited to release House of the Gundead to arcades and Exit the Gungeon on PC and consoles early this year!https://t.co/AHdRfzuVXw pic.twitter.com/mTgj7MzGvX

Originally announced for Apple Arcade and released on September 19th, 2019, Exit the Gungeon continued the events that were set into motion during the first game. Now that you’ve reached the end and accepted your reward, it seems that the entire Gungeon is suddenly falling apart. Now after blasting your way through absolute madness to get in, you’ll have to fight your way back out. Except you can’t go back the way you came and the entire place is mutating, changing and each adventurer will need to find their own way out of the Gungeon before it’s too late.

As a fan of the first game, I’m happy to see that this isn’t exclusive to Apple Arcade since I was already invested in other platforms. Now that it’s coming to other platforms, I can’t wait to dive back into this zany world.

That’s not all, as the arcade lightgun game, House of the Gundead, a spoof on Sega’s House of the Dead, was mentioned again. Not much is known regarding this currently as the arcade version hasn’t been released yet. Hopefully, a local Dave and Busters or Round One will carry this as arcades in my area are pretty much dead.
