The X019 announcements just keep coming. Hot of the heels of Rare’s announcement of its newest IP, Everwild, Obsidian took the stage to showcase its next project: a survival game called Grounded. Check out the trailer below.
Grounded is a huge departure from the epic RPGs that Obisidan is typically known for. Rather than building characters, players will instead be building fortifications to defend themselves from an onslaught of creatures. The characters in Grounded are all incredibly small, meaning things like spiders become ten times more threatening due to their size. It looks like a great time, and it’s due out in early 2020 in Xbox Game Preview.
