Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Screenshots showcase Vegito and others in action

Bandai Namco released a new set of screenshots from their upcoming Dragon Ball RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kararot, earlier today.

In these screenshots, we get to see several favorite anime characters in action, including the fused fighter Vegito. Not to mention Adult Gohan with his newly unlocked powers, as well as the chaotic Kid Buu.

Even Piccolo gets a quick look before he gets blasted by Goku’s massive Kamehameha via the training grounds. Which services as not only a practice room of sorts but fighting against other characters will earn your character new attacks or enhancing their normal attacks.

We also get to see the Community Board and the Soul Emblem systems, which serve as a way to power up the in-game characters.  For example, when you finish up a quest for specific characters or progressing throughout the story, you’ll earn soul emblems. These can be used on the community board by assigning them to characters, which will allow you to utilize them. Apparently, you can also open up a special dialogue between the characters as well this way.

If these screenshots look impressive, just wait until you see the game in action. As for me, I’m hyped for Dragon Ball RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kararot. I didn’t play any of the Xenoverse games (or Budokai games), but I’ve been following this for a while. This will be my first 3D Dragon Ball RPG and it’s shaping up quite well thanks to Cyberconnect2’s involvement. The same studio that worked on both Xenoverse games, as well as the Naruto Shippuden games, and various others.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases on January 17th, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
