Shantae and the Seven Sirens was officially dubbed name-wise a few weeks back. And now, at PAX East, the first gameplay footage has been revealed! And it gives some interesting insights into the new game.
First off, like most Shantae games, the platforming aspect is strong, but it doesn’t lose what makes Shantae special. Including her transformation ability, her ability to use items (a boomerang movie was heavily shown), her hair whip is back in full effect, and of course, boss fights with really interesting looking characters.
The game appears to be pure Shantae and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Check out the full demo below.
