For Honor and Alan Wake are free on the Epic Games Store

Previously Epic Games was giving away one free game, then they realized that one wasn’t enough. So they started giving away two free games on the Epic Games Store. Which I feel is a win for everyone. This week they’re giving away Ubisoft’s For Honor and Remedy’s Alan Wake. Both of which are great games.

In For Honor, players will choose a faction and battle it out for supremacy.  It plays more aking to a fighting game more than anything else but in a third-person view. Pick up a Knight, Samurai, Viking or WuLin and try to topple your opponents. It’s a decent game and it’s come a long way since it was originally released a few years back.

While Alan Wake as an amazing horror-suspense game and easily one of Remedy’s best games (so far). You play as Alan Wake, an author who’s done on his luck and now has to look for his missing wife. All while being situated in an eerie environment where things go bump in the night.

Both games will be free on the Epic Games Store from August 2nd – 9th. If either game sounds appealing, I recommend snagging them before the offer is gone. That is unless you don’t like free games, but who doesn’t like free games?
