Halo Infinite To Be Demoed On PCs At E3 2019

Looks like Microsoft is bringing out the big guns when it comes to E3 2019. We already knew about the 14 first-party games (3 of which are new IPs), and Xbox Game Pass for PC. While we speculated that the next-generation Halo title, Halo Infinite would make an appearance via a trailer, it seems that Microsoft has other plans.

According to Brad Sams from Thurrott.com, Halo Infinite will be demoed at E3 2019. This will be the first time that anyone outside of Microsoft will see the game in action. He goes on to start that the game will be played from a PC with an Xbox controller. Citing that Microsoft didn’t want to demo the game on the now aged Xbox One hardware. Which makes total sense to me.

However, this also confirms that Halo Infinite is definitely going to be a next-generation Xbox One (and PC) title. Something of which many were hoping would not be the case.

This E3 2019 is definitely shaping up to the best Microsoft showing in quite some time. Not only is Halo: Infinite going to present, but the 14 first-party games, of which 3 are new. We’ll also see Gears of War 5, Ori & The Will of the Wisps, possibly a new expansion for Forza Horizon 4, new DLC for State of Decay 2. Maybe even a possible showing of Battletoads? Then there’s the upcoming next-generation consoles, codenames Anaconda and Lockhart, as well as Project xCloud.

Yep, I can’t wait for the Microsoft conference to begin. Microsoft’s E3 2019 conference is scheduled for June 9 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. For those not at E3 2019, you’ll be able to watch the show on Twitch, Facebook and Mixer.

Keep in mind that Microsoft will be hosting a Mixer Pot for those who have a Mixer account. A Mixer Pot hasn’t been announced, but they are digital goodies such as games, DLC, in-game accessories and more. Last year they gave away an Outer Wilds Full Game Pre-Order, Gears of War 4 Microsoft Studios Skin, TERA E3 2018 Bundle, and a Halo 5 Classic Helmet REQ Pack.
