Blizzard Entertainment announced that in celebration of their upcoming 15th anniversary for World of Warcraft, they are unveiling a physical collector’s edition as well as an in-game event all coming with awesome rewards!

First off, the collector’s edition comes with the following:

  • Commemorative box
  • 10+” Ragnaros the Firelord black and gold statue
  • Map of Azeroth mouse pad
  • Onyxia the Broodmother pin
  • 8 frameable art prints
  • 2 in-game mounts: The Alabaster Stormtalon (Alliance) and the Alabaster Thunderwing (Horde)

The collector’s edition retails for $99 and is available to pre-order in the battle-net shop now. Shipping is said to take place on October 7 as it officially launches on October 8. The two mounts will be available later this year in the in-game shop for $25. If you purchase a collector’s edition after buying the mounts and before March 2020, you will be credited $25 on your Blizzard account.

In addition, Blizzard will be launching a 25-player Raid filled with notable bosses from World of Warcraft’s past. While the complete list of bosses is unknown, one boss (according to Wowhead) will be Kaelthas Sunstrider. Completing the raid will earn you an achievement and the Obsidian Worldbreaker mount… in other words, you will get a mount modeled after one of World of Warcraft’s most iconic villains: Deathwing!

Also, just for logging in during the event, you will be rewarded with the Lil’Nefarian pet. Nefarian was the final boss of Blackwing Lair back in WoW Classic as well as the final boss of Blackwing Descent in World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
