Ubisoft Is Teasing A Ghost Recon Announcement For Later This Week

Ready for the new Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon title? Well, ready for not, Ubisoft is set to announce a new entry in the series on May 9th, 2019 at 11:30 AM PT/ 2:30 PM ET.

In a recent tweet, the company dropped the news that a Ghost Recon announcement of sorts will happen next week. The question on everyone’s minds, however, is will this been a continuation of the Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Or will this be something completely different?

Calling all Ghosts.

Tune into the #GhostRecon World Premiere event May 9 at 11:30 am PT.

As for any clues, well, Ubisoft has been careful not to drop too much information. All we have to go on is the Skell Technology website (https://skelltechnology.com/skellcon/en-gb/) and the invite to an event called Skell Con. Fans of Ghost Recon will recognize the name as the same company that develops equipment for civilian usage.

They’ve made appearances in multiple Ghost Recon games, with Wildlands being the more recent.YouTuber Coreross first pointed this out. Oddly enough, the date that Skell Con occurs happens to be the same date as the announcement that Ubisoft is teasing.

As to what we can actually expect, we’ll just have to wait until May 9, which happens to this Thursday, to find out more. Personally, I’d love to see a new entry.
