Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Delayed To 2020

By Todd BlackMay 24, 2019
Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Delayed

There are very few things that can cause an outright riot for video gamers. A terrible sequel (*cough* Mass Effect Andromeda *cough*), a game that is infinitely delayed (*hack* Kingdom Hearts 3 *hack*), or canceled for no reason (*cough* Scalebound *cough), and of course, a terrible live-action interpretation. And for many, there has been no bigger error than what was shown recently in regards to Sonic The Hedgehog. How to fix it though? How about…Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Delayed to 2020? That sound good?

Good! Because that’s what’s happening. The live-action film was set for November this year. BUT, after the disastrous trailer reveal for the movie, fans revolted over the look of the Blue Blur. He didn’t look like Sonic in numerous ways. Even the creator of the game was shocked by how different he looked. But, director Jeff Fowler promised that he would fix it. And he will, it’s just going to take a little more time:

Needless to say, many of us here at the Outerhaven, especially those of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast, are THRILLED to hear this. And hopefully, by the time November comes around, we’ll have a better Sonic the Hedgehog to look at.
