Don’t Watch This ‘Spider-Man: Far From’ Home Trailer Unless You’ve Seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’

By Keith MitchellMay 6, 2019
Spider-Man Far From Home 2nd trailer

Seriously, don’t watch this if you haven’t seen Endgame

I can’t really say this enough, but if you haven’t seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ yet, then please just exit out of this article. Speaking of which, why haven’t you seen the movie yet? It’s amazing. As for why, well, ‘Spider-Man: Far’ From Home takes place immediately after Endgame. Meaning there is a really huge spoiler in the trailer, a spoiler that could possibly ruin the movie for you.

Still here? Ok, you’ve been warned.

Today, the latest (spoiler-filled) trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home was released. And there’s a bunch of new information released in this trailer. Yes, Endgame affects the story quite a bit. Due to all the snapping from Infinity War and Endgame, somehow the MCU now has a multiverse. We’ve heard this teased in Endgame, but with Far From Home, this makes the inception a reality. Yep, you know we’d see this eventually.

This opened the door (literally) for the MCU version of Mysterio to cross over to Earth-199999. He’s not from this universe and now he’s stuck here. He’s not an agent of Shield as some speculated previously. Now he and Spidey, along with some familiar faces have to battle against Elemental foes that also came from another universe. I’m still not convinced Mysterio is a good guy, given his past and all. For all we know, he’s using the Elementals for some unseen reason.

Oh, and something about Spider-Man stepping up to be the next Ironman?

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker, with Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds. Michael Keaton (Vulture) returns, as does Jon Favreau (Happy Logan), Zendaya (MJ) and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. Cobie Smulders makes an appearance as Agent Maria Hill, while Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury.

Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in theaters this July 2, 2019. Which is the last film of phase 3 of the MCU.
