Turok and Turok 2 Remasters Coming to Nintendo Switch

By Josh PiedraMarch 6, 2019
Turok

It was previously reported last year that remasters of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil were coming to the Xbox One platform. Those games launched on the platform last year and left many wondering if we would see the remasters on any additional consoles. Today, that question has been answered as it was announced that they will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch in a digital format!

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter will release for the Nintendo Switch on March 18. Turok 2: Seeds of Evil does not have a release date set for it quite yet but will be coming later on in 2019. Both games originally launched for the Nintendo 64.

There still has been no talks on whether or not the games will come to PlayStation 4. The Turok franchise jumped ship after the third game to the Sony PlayStation 2 and had been there since. It’s nice to see the series is returning to the original company it debuted on… even if it means it’s a remaster and not a new title. Oh well, get those Chronoscepters ready. There are dinosaurs to kill!
