By Josh PiedraMarch 7, 2019
Tetris 99

Nintendo announced a tournament for all Tetris 99 players. The tournament starts tomorrow, March 8, at 5 AM PST and ends on March 10 at 11:59 PM PST. The goal is to log onto Tetris 99 and come in first place as many times as possible. Doing so will give you a chance to win 999 My Nintendo Gold points!

Winners will be selected based on how many wins they have accumulated during the contest period. Nintendo states in their rules that they will be picking 999 winners so there are plenty of chances for everyone to win.  The total cash value of the prizes is $9,990 USD!

Speaking of the rules, Nintendo has outlined them for the Maximus Cup Tournament at the following link: https://tetris99.nintendo.com/rules/
