Back in 2007, Capcom released a 12-episode anime based on the Devil May Cry franchise. It was announced that all 12 of those episodes are available on PlayStation Network for free!

Devil May Cry follows the story of the demon hunter known as Dante. As a half demon, half human, he uses his trusty sword Rebellion and his two guns Ebony and Ivory to take on missions. Dante owns and runs “Devil May Cry,” a business that specializes in hunting and killing demon-related problems.
The anime takes place between the first two games in the series. Capcom sent sample discs of the anime out with collector’s editions of Devil May Cry 4. The anime even became infamous through a translation error when the main demon Abigail was mistranslated as Bill Gale. Just imagine the terror of the world coming to an end by the mighty and evil Bill Gale!
The anime currently has a 7.09 score on MAL and was decent. Fans of the series will probably find entertainment in the show but as someone who watched it, the show’s artwork and animation were more impressive than the story. Still, it’s free so if you are a DMC fan, then that should be reason enough for you to go pick it up!
