No, Jack Cooper Isn’t Available In Apex Legends

A really good mockup that’s fooling a bunch of people

Ever since Apex Legends, a battle royale game based in the Titanfall universe was released, I felt something was missing. Mainly the wall running ability that was available via the Titanfall 2 “Live Fire” mode. And while I’m hoping this eventually comes to the game, it seems an image of a pilot from Titanfall 2 has been making the rounds. Complete with those abilities. That pilot being Jack Cooper, operator of BT-7274.

Could he actually be in the game? Well, sadly, he isn’t. This image is the work of Reddit user, Mnkymnk.

This image was posted on the Apex Legends subreddit but has quickly spread to other parts of the internet. I’ve already seen a fair share of people asking if this was legit. Causing many to get their hopes up. Which is a bit of a bummer as it looks legit. Could you image Jack being in the game? Wall running and catching people by surprise? I know I could and definitely want to see this.

But for now, this is just a really good attempt at tricky everyone and a damned good mockup. Here’s to hoping our favorite Titanfall pilot makes his appearance in the game. We still have a few legends to go and who would a better pick than this guy?

Apex Legends is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Not only is it free, but the game has already surpassed over 10 million players and one million concurrent players. Though I’m sure the latter has already jumped that number already.
