Capcom wants to know what you thought about Resident Evil 2

By Keith MitchellFebruary 20, 2019

Capcom has quite the hit on their hands with Resident Evil 2 Remake. Not only is it one of Capcom’s top performers, but it’s also widely accepted as one of the best games in the series.

As such, Capcom wants to know what you thought about the game. In a current survey released by the company, they’re asking those who’ve played the game to answer it. Hopefully, you’ll provide honest answers. Seriously, don’t fake the funk with this.

As far as the survey goes, they just want to know what some of your favorite features of the game were. What you didn’t care too much about. What gaming platforms you have access to and things of that nature. Now if you’re wondering if there’s anything about another Resident Evil game, such as Resident Evil 3 Remake or Resident Evil 8. Well, there isn’t. However, that doesn’t actually rule them out.

If you think about it, the amount of work that Capcom put into the RE2 remake was a huge effort. Looking about at what they did with their first remake, Resident Evil Remaster, this time around was a bigger endeavor. One that paid off in a huge way for Capcom.

Still, if you look at the end game, all of the efforts in Resident Evil 2 Remake could just be Capcom setting them up for more remakes. Taking everything they learned along the way to possibly make the next game they decide to remake. Or even better, the rumored and quite possible Resident Evil 8 being made in the same vein. Tell me that would be something you’d be down for.

This all could hinge of this survey and the number of replies they get back So be sure to fill it out. Lastly, there is a section asking you for your thoughts about the game. Use this for providing your feedback and be honest. If you weren’t a fan of the Story A/B format, then tell them. If you didn’t like the new camera, then make your voice heard. Don’t hold back, but keep in mind you only have 250 characters to do so.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out our reviews of the game here, and the DLC, Resident Evil 2: The Ghost Survivors, here.
