Second Devil May Cry 5 Demo Headed To PlayStation 4 And Xbox One

By Keith MitchellJanuary 9, 2019
Devil May Cry 5

A few weeks back, Capcom released an Xbox One-exclusive Devil May Cry 5 demo. It included 3 action scenes and it was a chance for everyone to see how far the game had come during the development cycle, but also a chance to check out the gameplay. It was great, that is for Xbox One owners. While PlayStation 4 owners were left on the sidelines.

Well, that’s all about to change as a new demo is being prepped for both consoles. Set to be released on February 7, 2019, this new demo will let everyone with the exception of PC gamers (Doh!) to get in on the action. However, due to this, the original Devil May Cry 5 demo on the Xbox One has been retired. If you already downloaded it, you can still play it. Just that it won’t be available for those who didn’t download it already.

As for the new demo, Capcom hasn’t said what we can expect in it. The first demo had only featured Nero, so we’re hoping that this next one will let us take control of Dante, V, or perhaps even both.

The full game of Devil May Cry 5 releases on March 8, 2019, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It’s also one of my most anticipated games of 2019. So it goes without saying I can’t wait to get into the full version of this game.
