Crunchyroll Launches New “Stay Crunchy” Campaign

By Josh PiedraDecember 17, 2018
Stay Crunchy

Crunchyroll and Omelet have partnered together for a brand-new campaign called Stay Crunchy. The campaign is described as a dedication to the extraordinary and inclusive anime community as well as a love letter to their fans.

Crunchyroll has also announced that for the first time ever, Crunchyroll members will be able to share their personalized anime series recommendations with a new digital tool that has been branded as Crunchy Mix.

Crunchy Mix was inspired by the mixtape concept. You can add up to three shows to your mix and personalize it into a video that you can send to friends in order to express your own personality within your recommendation.

The Crunchy Mix tool hopes to help heighten someone’s love for anime or open the door to someone who is looking to experience anime. The Crunchy Mix tool will be live starting at the end of December 2018. A promotional video for the Crunchy Mix tool as well as the Stay Crunchy campaign can be found below which features their mascot Hime who has been animated!

The film was produced with help from Taichi Kimura (Caviar Content), and animators Rapparu Kanamewo (Crystal Cloud), Mai Yoneyama (Darling in the Franxx), NAZONOANIMEDAN (Re:Zero), 47C (Yuru Yuri), and Lionel Lum who helped build 1:1 ratio replicas for the movie.

A key visual for the campaign was also released which you can view below:
