Piccolo and Cell Now Officially Confirmed for Jump Force

By Zachery PaikaiNovember 21, 2018
Jump Force

Two more iconic characters representing the Dragon Ball series will be joining the roster of Jump Force. Piccolo, the mean, green Namekian, and Cell, Dr. Gero’s perfect creation, are both officially confirmed to be playable characters.

Both of these characters were revealed in a recent batch of scans from V Jump (Japanese manga magazine). Piccolo and Cell could be plainly seen standing amongst the previously announced cast members of Jump Force’s roster. And low and behold, with little to no surprise, both Piccolo and Cell will indeed be playable within Jump Force.

Jump Force
Yep, Piccolo and Cell are both officially in the game.

The inclusion of these two brings our headcount of Dragon Ball representatives up to a respectable five; this includes Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo, and Cell.  The only other series to boast this number of playable characters would be Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. I hope we see further additions of characters to other Shounen Jump series as well, at least if they have the pool of characters to fish from that is.

Jump Force launches on February 15, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

From the Hawaiian islands, Nanaue, the Prince of Sharks first appeared. This shark man was uncontested in terms of video game prowess. His notoriety of being a top-tier game wiz angered the envious locals and eventually forced Nanaue into exile. His hunger for competition and game knowledge grew as time past. This in tow, leads him to delve into the sea of writing and gaming culture.
