Spyro: Reignited Trilogy Launch Trailer – That Lovable Dragon Is Back

While the Activision’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the PS4 and Xbox isn’t due out for another three weeks. It didn’t stop them from releasing the launch trailer. I suppose this serves as a first look at the game for many people.

And what look it is. This trailer is beautiful and really shows off the updated/remastered world of Spyro. I very much enjoyed the original games back on the PlayStation. To say I played them way too much, well is an understatement. It’s going to be interested to see how faith this remaster is to the original games.

Speaking of which, this includes all three of the Spyro titles – Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

It’s been quite some time since we had a title that focused solely on Spyro. Sure, he was in the Skylanders series, but our favorite purple dragon wasn’t the hero of the series. This time around, we’ll get some sexy platforming action, lots of modern tech, all of which will ensure a hell of a time. I’m also looking forward to sitting down and playing these with my children.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy releases on Nov. 13, 2018, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sorry, PC and Switch owners, this isn’t coming your way. There’s nothing planned for either platform – for now anyway.
