Capcom Committed To Bringing Several Resident Evil Games To The Switch

By Keith MitchellOctober 26, 2018

Over on the Capcom UK Twitter feed, the company has announced that they’re planning on bringing over several Resident Evil Games to the Switch. Titles such as Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil 4 and the original game, Resident Evil.

Capcom is bringing multiple fan favorites to Nintendo Switch! Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and Resident Evil 4 will each be launching on Nintendo Switch in 2019! We'll have more info soon!

Mind you, this is only an announced. They haven’t started how they planning on bringing the games over. Will these be cartridges? Perhaps they’ll use the same streaming tech that they used for Resident Evil 7 on the console. Which happens to be the same way Sega released their popular MMO, Phantasy Star Online 2 for the Switch as well.

It’s not too far-fetched for any of these games to run well on the system. Remember, Resident Evil Zero ran on the Nintendo Gamecube. While the other two games ran on the original PlayStation. Of which I’m sure the Switch can handle. So this is exciting news for Switch owners who crave some Resident Evil games in their lives.

More news on this to come soon, the only question is when we’ll find out more. Stay tuned as we follow this new development.
