Toonami Expands its Time Slot

Adult Swim announced via their Facebook page that the Toonami anime block is being extended by one hour! Starting on September 29, the popular anime block will begin airing a 9 pm and will end its broadcast at 4 am (time are in Eastern Daylight Time). This is also occurring at the same time as the Toonami premiere of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The new lineup will still include recently premiered shows such as Attack on Titan season 3 and FLCL Alternative. 

Adult Swim’s official announcement is as follows:

Toonami’s starting earlier and giving you even more! That’s right, get ready for the PRIME TIME – SEVEN HOUR CHALLENGE!
Starting September 29th, Toonami will start at 9p and keeping rolling on until 4a! Check out the full lineup below:

9:00p – DBZ: Kai
9:30p – My Hero Academia
10:00p – Naruto: Shippuden
10:30p – Boruto: Naruto Next Generations
11:00p – Dragon Ball Super
11:30p – FLCL: Alternative
12:00a – Attack on Titan
12:30a – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
1:00a – Black Clover
1:30a – Hunter x Hunter
2:00a – One-Punch Man
2:30a – Lupin the 3rd
3:00a – Cowboy Bebop
3:30a – Samurai Jack
