Get your smash on at SDCC 2018

Headed out to the 2018 San Diego ComicCon and happen to want to get your hands on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Well, you’re in luck as Nintendo has just announced that the title will be in available for all to check out.

Attendees will be able to get some hands-on with the title, starting from July 19th and up until July 22nd. But that’s not all as Nintendo will also have several other titles for everyone to enjoy. From Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Odyssey, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and even the upcoming Pokemon: Let’s go, Pikachu and Eevee!

We’re headed to #SDCC2018 to bring the action of Super #SmashBrosUltimate to you! Go hands-on with gaming’s biggest crossover, plus play hot #NintendoSwitch games at the Nintendo booth or the Nintendo Gaming Lounge located inside the Marriott Marquis & Marina! pic.twitter.com/oMRZmFLMQK

Nintendo will also be giving chances to skip the lines to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While at the event, if you tweet @Nintendo with the hashtag #BringMeSmash, and it gets seen. You just might win a golden ticket and get to move to the from the line. They’ll also be holding a 64-player Super Smash Bros. Ultimate teen tournament on July 21st. This is only for ages 13-19, where they’ll fight it out for some cool prizes.

The Nintendo Gaming Lounge is located in the San Diego ballroom of the Marriott Marquis & Marina at 333 W. Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101. Hours of operation are from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT July 19-21, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT on July 22. So if you’re going to be in the area and like Nintendo games, perhaps you may want to make your way over there.

Now, if you don’t know what Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is, let’s do the 411. It’s only the biggest fighting game from Nintendo, ever. The fifth title in the Super Smash Bros. series, this time around you’ll have access to every character who’s ever graced the series. That’s a total of 68 playable characters, with room for more. The title is set for a Dec. 7, 2018, release on the Nintendo Switch and I happen to know a few people that are dying to play this game. Isn’t that right, Todd, Tyler and Will?
