J-Pop Summit 2018 is Cancelled

By Josh PiedraJuly 2, 2018
J-Pop Summit

It was announced via New People’s official website that due to issues with the site in which J-Pop 2018 was scheduled to be held, the event has been effectively canceled for this year. J-Pop Summit has been running events in San Francisco, California since 2009 and has been organized by Superfrog Product, a non-profit organization.

The message from J-Pop Summit reads as follows:

Dear J-POP fans,

We regret to inform you that we have decided not to host our J-POP SUMMIT this year due to unforeseen circumstances in regards to our festival venue. We will still present Japan Film Festival of San Francisco at NEW PEOPLE in Japantown this fall, and details will be announced very soon.

Thank you very much for your continued support.

Sincerely,
J-POP SUMMIT Team

Japan Film Festival of San Francisco is typically held in September and features a myriad of films and documentaries from Japan’s world of cinema.
