Anime Expo 2018: The Second Season Of Castlevania To Start In Oct.

Netflix's Castlevania series

Get ready for more blood to flow

During the Netflix anime panel, held during the 2018 Anime Expo, Netflix announced the release date of Castlevania‘s second season. Get ready for Team Belmont… or is it Team Alucard, to begin the hunt of Dracula on October 26, 2018.

Season two will double the length of the first season and will include eight episodes. It’s also written by Warren Ellis, produced by Adi Shankar and animated by Powerhouse Animation. All of which were onboard for the original outing.

The first season ended with Trevor and Sypha, finding who they believed to be Dracula. Only it wasn’t the Lord of Darkness that they found, and instead was his son, Alucard. After a brief battle, Alucard suggests the three team up and end Dracula’s reign once and for all. Season two will pick up from where season one ended.

Of course, this comes off the previous announcement that season three is already in the works.
